Take Hwy 160 from Las Vegas toward Pahrump. As the highway begins to ascend toward Mountain Springs, watch for the well-marked “Late Night Trailhead” on your right. Just after passing the Late Night Trailhead, take a left onto Cottonwood Road. That turn is at the end of the last concrete blocks separating the divided highway (Hwy 160). Park at an unpaved lot at the entrance of Cottonwood Road.
