When you stand on Charleston Peak, elevation 12,019ft, you’re standing on the highest peak in Mt. Charleston Wilderness and in Southern Nevada! This makes for unmatched 360-degree views. And the majestic Bristlecone Pines, especially along the North side of the peak, are incredible.

The popular approach to Charleston Peak is on the Charleston Loop from either the South Loop Trailhead, Trail Canyon Trailhead (in Kyle Canyon) or the North Loop Trailhead on Deer Creek Road. There’s an unknown pathless wilderness approach to Charleston Peak from Lee Canyon. See all of these below.
