The Valley of Fire State Park Visitor Center is artfully designed to integrate with the surrounding environment. Staffed with helpful State Park experts, you will find informative interpretive displays on the geological history of the area, ancient human inhabitants, petroglyphs, rock formations, plant and animal life.Â
Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada is located about 50 miles Northeast of Las Vegas. From the Las Vegas Strip take I-15 North toward Salt Lake City. Turn right onto Valley of Fire Highway at exit 75. Continuing on Valley of Fire Highway, enter the West entrance to Valley of Fire State Park. Continue on Valley of Fire Highway through Valley of Fire State Park and turn left onto Mouse’s Tank Road to arrive at the Valley of Fire State Park Visitor Center in about 700 feet.

He began in the Pacific Northwest with the Columbia Gorge and Cascade Mountains; then moved to Southern California and experienced the Angeles Crest mountains; then the Northeast where he experienced the Hudson River Valley and Minnewaska; finally in 2016 to Las Vegas where he is experiencing and documenting Red Rock Canyon, the Spring Mountains (Mt. Charleston area), Death Valley and beyond!
