Why Visit The Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway?
The Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway is an important first stop for developing your Mt. Charleston Wilderness overall strategy. I passed the Visitor Gateway for seven years on the way to various adventures in The Spring Mountains! Upon finally stopping to view The Visitor Gateway, it was with some level of regret to realize that I had missed valuable information on The Spring Mountains including Geology, Plants, Animals, History and much more to be had at The Gateway. This would have added to the experience of every adventure during those seven years.
The Acastus Trail with it’s informative displays is also a great initial introduction to The Mt. Charleston Wilderness and The Spring Mountains.
