Hidden Peak is a great first summit adventure if you have not yet summited one of the Rainbow Mountains in Nevada. The route to the summit base is on a nice trail and the final summit approach is well-cairned with gradual inclines and just a few easy class 3 rock scrambles. Mt Wilson Summit from Lovell Canyon | Rainbow Mountains, Nevada
The traditional summit route to Mt. Wilson (elevation 7,071ft) is from First Creek Canyon below. But did you know it was also possible to descend to the summit of Mt. Mummy’s Nose Final Summit Approach from Deer Creek Road, Nevada

This spectacular 6-7-mile pristine wilderness loop makes a wide circuit between the 8,300ft starting point on Deer Creek Road and the 10,200ft elevation, less than a half-mile below Mummy’s Nose.
